As the price of many foods remains high, many grandfamilies and kinship families may face challenges in putting food on the table.  Federal nutrition programs can help kin caregivers stretch limited budgets and ensure their families have the food they need to thrive. Join experts from the Food Research & Action Center (FRAC) for a four-part series of “office hours” style webinars where you can learn about federal nutrition programs, ask questions, and share experiences from your community.

Clarissa Hayes, Deputy Director, Child Nutrition Programs & Policy, will discuss key topics related to the Summer Meals Program and Summer EBT. She’ll share tools and tips to help grandfamilies and kinship families access these programs and highlight how service providers can leverage federal dollars to provide meals to children and teens.
