USAging is the national association representing and supporting the network of Area Agencies on Aging and advocating for the Title VI Native American Aging Programs. Its members help older adults and people with disabilities throughout the United States live with optimal health, well-being, independence, and dignity in their homes and communities. USAging and its members work to improve the quality of life and health of older adults and people with disabilities, including supporting people with chronic illness, people living with dementia, family caregivers, grandfamilies and kinship caregivers, and others who want to age well at home and in the community. Together, USAging and its members are ensuring that all people can age well.

USAging is thrilled to be a part of this important effort led by Generations United to support grandfamilies and kinship caregivers.  Our members, the nation’s Area Agencies on Aging and Title VI Native American Aging Programs, are working to address the complex needs of grandparents and other relative caregivers and are interested in developing new programming and services that would help and support them in their critical roles. We look forward to contributing to this much needed effort by expanding the capacity of the Aging Network to help elevate and address the needs of grandfamilies and other kinship caregivers.
