As the price of many foods remains high, many grandfamilies and kinship families may face challenges in putting food on the table.  Federal nutrition programs can help kin caregivers stretch limited budgets and ensure their families have the food they need to thrive. Join experts from the Food Research & Action Center (FRAC) for a four-part series of “office hours” style webinars where you can learn about federal nutrition programs, ask questions, and share experiences from your community.

Erin Hysom, Senior Child Nutrition Policy Analyst, will provide information on the School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program. She’ll discuss access to free, healthy school meals for students in grandfamilies and kinship families, and policies to make it easier to access school meals.
