As the Assistant Director for the Grandfamilies & Kinship Support Network, Melissa is responsible for helping to manage the Network and implement new initiatives. Melissa has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management. Prior to joining Generations United, Melissa was the Administrator at the Family Focused Treatment Association where she managed the operations of a national association of 500 child and family serving agencies. There she served as grant manager for a demonstration project to pilot kinship therapeutic foster care, which fueled her passion for improving services and supports for grandfamilies and other kinship families.
